The only exception to that is the Deathbrand armor it’s light but when the full set is worn it is more defensive than Daedric.Īlso mages can get a spell that gives them them an 80% damage reduction(same as cap)įor your original problem put those bones and scales in a chest in your house, have lydia carry loot that you get from places and keep the stuff you use on you. It is only the same if smithing is involved, if you play a character without smithing heavy armor will offer more protection. Thanks for the feedback I'll probably give belethor a visit! There's the perk to sort that but still, you would think light armour would offer less protection overall just as a mage using robes would be minimal. I wasn't aware light armour offered the same protection! What is the point in heavy armour then? You move slower and it weighs a ton. (It will still hit the armor cap though, so eventually it will give the same protection.)
Light armor weighs less (and gets the weightless perk earlier), but takes much longer before you hit the armor cap. Until you get the weightless armor perk, heavy armor is. Originally posted by Doombringer:Well, find a non-reseting cell or container to store stuff in.
